Counselling services

Description

Our counselling services provide skilled listening in a safe and confidential environment. This will enable discussion of sensitive issues which can emerge over time in an atmosphere of trust. We work within the ethical framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. We offer 'short term' or 'open ended' counselling depending on what is appropriate for you. Counselling we offer address: · Anxiety issues and Generalised Anxiety Disorder · Depression · Confidence and Self-Esteem issues · Bereavement · Pre, Peri and Post-natal depression · Anger management issues · Phobias · Relationship problems (Please note we do not offer couples counselling) · Work-related Stress · Issues linked to identifying as LGBT · A clinically-diagnosed mental health condition such as Bipolar Disorder, · Schizophrenia and Personality Disorders. · Self-harm · Recovery from substance misuse issues · Obsessive Compulsive Disorder · Eating Disorders Our counselling services are primarily delivered at our Jubilee Centre but can also be offered to businesses and organisation in-house if the right setting is available. Our counselling service is open to anyone who can travel to our Southend office. The assessment fee is £40 (or £20 for those in receipt of benefits), the ongoing fee for sessions will be negotiated during the assessment based upon your income and ability to pay. We work on a sliding scale with the lowest threshold set at £10.
