Aims and Activities

South East and Central Essex Mind (SECE Mind) has a track record of over 50 years of delivering quality mental health services to people in need. Our core services are: - Providing supported housing to those who struggle with their independence through poor mental health issues - A phone, email and drop-in service (Chelmsford and Southend) for the community so they can get advice on mental health issues for themselves or their peers. - Counselling and services to those wishing to resolve their mental health struggles. - Training – We are able to provide high-quality mental health training to fit your individual, school or business needs. In addition to this SECE Mind also run specialist services. These currently include: - The Trauma programme – a Big Lottery funded programming which helps people to address their problems caused by psychological trauma through a support plan and a tiered road to recovery. This is a free service. - Youth Counselling (+5 years) - Our counsellors are equipped to deliver the right counselling at a low-cost to you and your family.
