Environment and Conservation Skills
Participants will be able to customise their learning by specialising in one of three key areas. • Habitats – woodland management and conservation, creating and maintaining hedgerows and general wildlife habitats. • Land management – creation and maintenance of ponds and ditches, with specialist skills for managing wetlands and grasslands • Man-made structures in the environment – construct features to control engagement with wild areas, in particular footpaths, walking surfaces, fencing, steps and gates. This free course runs at Stow Maries on Tuesdays, 10 am– 4pm. A free minibus service is provided from designated pick up points to the venue. A great way to socialise and learn in a relaxed environment.
