Fitness In Mind™ is an award winning initiative designed to promote, encourage and provide physical activity as an aid to mental wellbeing. Sport and physical activity are proven to boost self-esteem, reduce stress, and help prevent or reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, but getting active when you’re not feeling great isn’t easy. Low motivation, social anxiety, self-image issues, uncertainty regarding exercise, and financial expense, can all hinder us from using this vital and hugely enjoyable life tool. At Fitness In Mind™ we strive to support individuals into fun physical activity, helping them establish and maintain a healthier lifestyle for both body and mind. All our classes are run by specially selected, qualified instructors, and friendly Peer-Support Volunteers, giving expert tuition, emotional support, and guidance towards other useful organisations.
