Hockey

Description

There are many forms of hockey the club provide: Senior: Men’s and Ladies age 13+ both league competitive hockey or just training Junior: age 5-U14. Children are taught how to play the game at all stages and get the chance to play matches with a path through to the senior club when the reach 13 Flyerz: for people with disabilities Learning or physical. There is a coaching session each week with the chance to play matches and often have a tournament at Lea Valley, the National Hockey Stadium. To date we have catered for all. Rush: For all age 8+ for people who do not wish to commit to competitive hockey or wish to try hockey, the option is still there to move to competitive hockey. Walking Hockey: Hockey for people who do not or cannot run, people who have stopped playing for whatever reason, those recovering from illness or injury. Despite walking it is still a good form of exercise which helps to get fit and reduce weight with a lot of hockey skills. All formats are for anybody from beginner upwards and all allow a person to make new friends.
