Rethink Mental Illness

Aims and Activities

Rethink Mental Illness provide community groups for people with mental health needs in the Mid Essex area with the main aim being to reduce social isolation. No costs to join and anyone with mental health needs can join, although groups outside of the Duke Street offices are "open" for anyone to attend with no referral process. Groups include: • Art on Monday 10am - 1pm at 50B Duke Street, Chelmsford • Feel Better with a Book on Tuesday 11am - 1pm at Chelmsford Library • Current Affairs discussions 1:30pm - 3pm on a Tuesday at the Ideas Hub in Chelmsford • Art on Wednesday 10am - Midday at 50B Duke Street, Chelmsford • Gym Group (£2.90 cost) on a Thursday 11am to Midday at Riverside Sports Centre • Buddy Group on a Thursday 2pm - 4pm at The Plough Pub in Chelmsford • Feel Better with a Book on Thursday 2pm - 4pm at Braintree Library • Creative Arts on a Friday 10am - Midday at 50B Duke Street, Chelmsford.
